Science Fair Coming Soon

I just wanted to put a quick post up to let everyone know that we will be having a Science/Invention Fair at Donner Springs this year. We will be having the fair on Open House night, February 23. The projects are due on Monday. Much of the project will be done at school. However, the experimental design and data collection will have to be done at home.


We will be sending a 30 page packet full of resources home with the students hopefully by tomorrow. They are being printed up as I type. If you are chomping at the bit to get started you can check out the following resources:

Under the student tab there are some really good resources. The ten steps will help guide the students through the process.

***Remember: The project must involve actual experimentation. It should not be simply a
report, a description, a model or a system built (even advanced ones) from someone else's
plans.

If you have any questions about these please do not hesitate to call or e-mail me. We will be setting up a time line with due dates as a class. The first step, the question being answered/idea will be due in writing next Monday.
