Sorry for the late post but conferences took up most of my afternoon.

We are reading a story about the moon phases so one of the homework assignments will be to have the students sketch a picture of the moon tonight. It is pretty much a full moon and is rising early in the evening in the east.

Also a short vocabulary sheet, read for 20 mins, and 6-1 in math numbers 1-5. The students are creating data tables for this assignment.

Conferences are going well. Each student wrote down two goals that they would like to accomplish this year. It's been great seeing how intuitive these guys really are when it comes to their own learning.
