Thursday

Well, our parent-student-teacher conferences are almost over. It's been great getting to talk with each student and their families. We've come up with some great goals. My students are so awesome! They know what they are good at and what they can improve. I'm proud of them.

Homework:

Read for 20 mins. I haven't handed out the November reading logs yet. It seems like the students show up and then 15 mins later they are heading home for the day. I can't wait until next week.

Spelling- We have a test tomorrow.

Math- The students need to find the mean, median, mode and range of a set of data. If they don't have them written down then they can use the following data: 24, 48, 17, 43.

Don't forget that tomorrow is Bingo Night! I'll be there along with my family. Can't wait. Also, report cards go home with the students tomorrow.

We are also trying to collect food for needy families in our community this upcoming holiday season. If you can spare a few items it will be used to feed someone in need. We've already had to empty our class collection box because of the great effort of so many of our students. Thanks.
